MARIA FELICITAS LEAL

EDINBURG – Maria Felicitas Leal, 72, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at her residence in Edinburg. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Natalia Amaya; and a brother, Ignacio Amaya. 

Mrs. Leal is survived by her husband, Jose B. Leal; four children, Rigoberto Leal, Ana Morales, Alex (Mariana) Leal, David Leal; four grandchildren, Rebecca Adalee Gonzalez, Giovanna R. Dominique Leal, Dorian D’Metrio Leal, Genavie D-Ann Morales; a great-grandchild, Marshall James Martinez; two brothers, Guillermo Amaya, Felipe Amaya; sister, Susanna Perez. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
