MARIA M. RODRIGUEZ

MCALLEN- Maria M. Rodriguez, 74, died Monday, July 8, 2024, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

Maria was a beautiful, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and daughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Josefina Garcia; and two brothers, Juan Jesus Mireles Garcia, and Ernesto Mireles Garcia.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Albino R. Rodriguez; children, Albino R. (Bertha) Rodriguez Jr., Maria Alicia (Agustin) Garza, Margarita R. (Valde) Guerra, Josefina (Hector) Cardoza, Hector (Criselda) Rodriguez, Amanda Rodriguez; Maria also leaves behind 14 cherished grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ricardo Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
