Maria De Jesus Salinas

Maria De Jesus Salinas, 84, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, in Adkins, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Rogelio Salinas r.; a grandson, Hector Lopez Jr.; parents, Jose De Jesus Cortez and Maria De La Luz Rivera; and two brothers, Francisco Javier Cortez and Antonio Cortez.

Mrs. Salinas is survived by her nine children, Ruben (Natalie) Salinas, Sylvia (Francisco) Tello, Rogelio Salinas Jr., Sandra Salinas (Alfredo) Gonzalez, Cynthia Lopez, Javier Salinas, Roberto (Rhonda) Salinas, Leticia (Richard) Hernandez, and Laura E. (Ray) Torres; 32 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Maria Refugio Villagomez, Jose Luis Cortez and Maria Angeles Uresti.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
