MARIO ALBERTO AREVALO

EDINBURG – Mario Alberto Arevalo, 62, passed Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Valley Grande Manor in Weslaco.

Mario worked most of his life working as an oil field truck driver.  He loved dancing to all types of music, riding his Harley, and enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Mr. Arevalo is survived by his eight children, Jessica, Angie, Amanda, Alyssa, Steven, Bonnie, Mario II, and Khloe Arevalo; seven grandchildren; parents, Rogelio and Antonia Mendez; five siblings, Estella Mendez, Rick Mendez, Lisa Mendez, Maribel Mendez, and Roy “Tex” Mendez Jr.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by Funeral service Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
