Daniel Martinez

Daniel Martinez, 50, was called to Heaven to serve our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Sara Silva of Donna; two children, Joshua I. Martinez, Justin Munguia, both of Houston; his mother, Thelma A. Alaniz of Pharr; three siblings, Jose L. Martinez of Pharr, Joshua Alaniz of Montgomery, Trina Alaniz of Houston; grandson, Emerson Martinez of Houston; sister-in-law Cindy Alaniz of Montgomery, nephews Joe Daniel Martinez of Pharr, Joshua, Nathaniel, Michael, Jaylynn, Ethan Alaniz of Montgomery; nieces Mercedes Martinez of New York and Jaylynn Alaniz of Montgomery. Step-children, Michael Romero of Edinburg, Kassandra Whitlock of San Juan, Nick Jr. of Pharr, and Ramiro of Donna. Step-grandchildren, Jordan Ramirez, Fernando Martinez, Jr., Wyatt Whitlock.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
