EDUARDO “MOYO” MARTINEZ ALAMO – Eduardo Martinez, 35, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Alamo. Born in San Juan, Eduardo had lived in Alamo all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cresencio Martinez and Maria Guadalupe Ibarra; two nieces, Kaylee Trevino and Rose Arrianna Martinez. Eduardo is survived by five siblings, Belinda (Victor) Ochoa of San Juan, Veronica (Sergio Rivera) Martinez, Erika (Felipe) Rivera, Juan Martinez, Jessica (Jorge Trevino) Martinez, all of Alamo; and his maternal grandfather, Marciano Ibarra. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 31, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
