JOSE ANGEL MARTINEZ
EDINBURG – Jose Angel Martinez, 88, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona A. Martinez; parents, Viviano and Anita Martinez; five brothers, Jesus and Rudy Martinez, Guadalupe, Ruben, and Gilbert Enriquez; and a sister, Herlinda Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his 10 children, Esmeralda (Arturo) Izaguirre, Maria Esmerlinda Contreras,
Jose Angel (Rosa) Martinez Jr., Clara Martinez, Alberto Martinez, Cristina (Rudy+) Gomez, Benny (Cecilia) Martinez, Jose Luis Gonzalez, David (Elda) Martinez, Daniel (Tina) Martinez; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janie Enriquez, Filomena (Monico) Gonzalez, Anita Ramos.
Visitation will be held from5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, November 26, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
