SAN JUAN – Juan Jose Martinez, 65, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at his residence in San Juan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Martinez and Juanita Gonzalez; three sisters, Santa O. Piñon, Virginia Tapia, Maria J. Vargas; and a brother, Rodrigo Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his three children, Ricky (Kelly) Martinez, Erica (Rudy) Hernandez, Nati Lorane (Ismael) Martinez; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez III, Deseray Denise Hernandez, John-Eric Hernandez, Joe-Lee Hernandez, Anthony Martinez, Derick Martinez, Jason Ortiz, Jasper Ortiz; seven siblings, Aurelio Martinez, Raul Martinez, Julian Martinez Jr., Manuel Martinez, Dora N. Almanza, Ofelia Hernandez, and Filberta Tapia; and mother of his children, Maria Elena Martinez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
