Edinburg – Raquel Martinez, 54, went home to our Lord Monday, June 15, 2020, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Martinez Cantu.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughter, Lina Martinez of Edinburg; two sons, Jesus Martinez of Florida, Randall Martinez of Edinburg; eight siblings, Martin Zecca, Adriana Zecca, Patricia Zecca, all of Edinburg, Silvia Zecca of San Antonio, Yesenia Zecca of Austin, Francisco Zecca, Vicente Zecca, both of Edinburg, Arianne Zecca of Reynosa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
