Matilde Lopez

ALAMO- Matilde Lopez, 65, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her her husband, Noe Lopez; and her parents, Ascencion and Esiquia Cuevas.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her three children, Kevin Lopez, Alex Lopez, Aaron Lopez; seven grandchildren; 10 siblings, Ramon (Diana) Cuevas, Anita Cuevas, Francisco (Elma) Cuevas, Guadalupe (Irineo) Hinojosa, Rojelio (Melinda) Cuevas, Juanita (Fidel) Saldana, Teresa Cuevas, Ricardo (Maxine) Cuevas, Martin (Elisa) Cuevas, and Cynthia Cuevas.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Friday, December 6, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
