DANIEL THOMAS McCONAUGHY
ALAMO – Daniel Thomas McConaughy, 59, died Friday, December 4, 2009, at his residence in Alamo, Texas.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. McConaughy and had lived in Alamo for three years and was formerly of Manchester, Tennessee.
Dan had a passion for traveling throughout the country in his RV and he made friends wherever he went. He was the former owner of aKOA Campground and he will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret McConaughy.
Mr. McConaughy is survived by a close friend, Tina Borchard.
Cremation will be held at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice Services, 2515-B E. Griffin Parkway, Mission, Texas, 78572.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
