AURORA G. MENDEZ

SAN JUAN - Aurora G. Mendez, 70, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Comfort House in McAllen.

Born in N.L., Mexico, Mrs. Mendez had lived in San Juan all of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Mendez; and her parents, Santiago and Guadalupe Garcia.

Mrs. Mendez is survived by a son, Richard (Rosalinda) Mendez of Mission; two daughters, Leticia (Robert) Cobos, Aurora Mendez, both of San Juan; a granddaughter, Victoria Cobos of San Juan; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother, Jaime (Maria) Garcia of Alamo; and two sisters, Ninfa (Antonio) Maldonado of Monterrey, Mexico and Minerva (Rodolfo) Morgan of San Juan.

A rosary was held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, today, July 22, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
