PROGRESO, TX – Maria E. Mendez, 66, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, in Odessa, TX.
Born in Progreso, TX, Ms. Mendez had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Guadalupe Mendez.
Ms. Mendez is survived by a son, Michael Mendez of Edinburg; two grandsons, Michael Mendez and Dillon Mendez; a sister, Juanita Castillo of Weslaco; a brother, Pedro Torres of McAllen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, December 8, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
