Tito Mendoza

TITO MENDOZA ALAMO - Tito Mendoza, 92, died Friday, January 18, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Mendoza was born in San Luis Potosi and had lived in Alamo for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cruzita Mendoza. Mr. Mendoza is survived by four daughters, Dionicia Mendoza, Maria (Emiliano) Tobias, both of Reynosa, Sofia (Lorenzo) Cisneros, of Matamoros, Petra (Joe) Mansfield, of San Ardo, California; five sons, Martin (Karen) Mendoza, of Greenville, Illinois, Jesus (Sandra) Mendoza, of Edinburg, Roberto (Soledad) Mendoza, of Folsom, Louisiana, Jose (Bernabe) Mendoza, of Alamo, Noe O. (Carol) Mendoza, of Tickfaw, Louisiana; 31 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Fidencia Mendoza Avitua. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 21, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
