Tomas Mendoza

ALAMO — Tomas Mendoza, 91, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at his residence in Alamo. He is preceded in death by his son, Miguel Mendoza; a brother, Ernesto Mendoza; and his parents, Teresa and Victorio Mendoza. Mr. Mendoza is survived by his wife, Margarita Reyna; three children, Magdalena and Marta Mendoza both of Alamo, Francisco (Leticia) Mendoza of Mission; four grandchildren, Michael Mendoza, Matthew (Meagan) Mendoza, both of Pharr; Francine and Francisco Mendoza Jr., both of Mission; three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Paloma, and Azelea Mendoza, all of Pharr. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with 7 p.m. rosary today, February 15, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2015 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
