ROBERT JOSEPH METTLACH EDINBURG — Robert Joseph Mettlach, 58, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Mr. Mettlach is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Thelma Mettlach. Robert is survived by his four children, Roxanne Mettlach of Edinburg, Zabrina Mettlach of Edinburg, Crystal Montelongo of Austin, TX and Leslie Mettlach of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Taylor Mettlach, Derrick Morin, Areisy, Naylea and Ethan Carrillo, Mateo and Diego Montelongo; a brother, Frank; and seven sisters, Elaine, Evelyn, Mary, Karen, Lorraine, Diane and Rose. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, February 20, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at Abundant Grace in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
