FELIPE MEZA Felipe Meza, 60, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Mexico, Mr. Meza had lived in Alamo since 1993 and was formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a Pastor at Iglesia Restauracion en Jesus in Alamo. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jose T. Meza. Mr. Meza is survived by his wife, Juanita Meza of Alamo; seven children, Melinda (Joel) Hernandez of Donna, Felipe (Tatiana) Meza, Jr., Jose T. Meza, both of Alamo, Maria Del Rosario Meza of Pharr, Carlos Meza of Houston, TX, Edith Meza of Edinburg, Freddy Hernandez of McAllen; 14 grandchildren; seven sisters, Carmen Rosales of Rio Grande City, Natalia Solis of Mission, Bacilicia Meza, Felipa Castro, both of Rio Bravo, Tamps., Mexico, Hortencia Meza of Lufkin, TX, Sylvia Meza Sanguino of Houston, TX, Sonia Meza of North Carolina; and a brother, Rafael Meza of Rio Bravo, Tamps., Mexico Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
