FRANK MILLER, JR.
EDINBURG – Frank Miller, JR., 67, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Mission, Mr. Miller lived in McAllen most of his life, and retired to live in Edinburg. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War. After he was honorably discharged from the Army, he continued to serve for 16 years in the Army Reserve. Frank was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and the Three Stooges. He loved to eat steak, enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his family. Frank retired after 38 years of working for the Texas Department of Transportation.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alicia Miller, Sr.
Frank is survived by his wife, Maria E. Miller of Edinburg; four children, Cynthia Miller Grace of McAllen, Melissa M. (Jorge) Cavazos of Mercedes, Kristin Miller of McAllen, Frank (Yazmine) Miller, III of Melissa, TX; seven grandchildren, Anyssa M. Grace, Michael W. Grace, Jr., Matthew L. Grace, Victoria M. Cavazos, Kristyn N. Garza, Jorge L. Cavazos, Jr., Frank L. Miller, IV; two siblings, Joe H. Miller and Janie M. Reyes.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Pallbearers will be Frank Miller, III, Adalberto Garza, Jorge Cavazos, Jorge Cavazos, Jr., Michael Grace and Michael Grace Jr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
