ALEJANDRO “ALEX” MOLINA
EDINBURG/PHARR – Alejandro “Alex” Molina, age 57 of Edinburg, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 18, 2009, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Erasmo Molina, Sr. and Ernestina Molina.
He is survived by the love of his life, Rosie Delgado, of Edinburg; a daughter, Rebecca Molina; two sons, David and Gabriel Molina, all of Pharr; a grandson, Lennon; five brothers, Mo (Liz) Molina, of Harlingen, Gus (Rosie) Molina, of Weslaco, Rudy (Judy) Molina, of Edinburg, Bobby (Nena) Molina, of Fort Worth, Ray Molina, of Faysville; three sisters, Lucy (Al) Fernandez, of Weslaco, Cris (David) Saenz, and Cris (Rene) Torres, both of Edinburg. Alex is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service today, September 20, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, September 21, 2009, at Rock of Ages Assembly of God, 1400 W. Minnesota Road, in Pharr. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at University Hospital Transplant Center in San Antonio for their effortless hours in helping Alex and to the many friends and family members that prayed for him.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
