Alicia Barrientes Molina, 47, passed away on May 2, 2016.
Born and raised in San Juan to Jesus and Guadalupe M. Barrientes.
Alicia graduated from PSJA High School and from South Texas College. She later moved to Littlefield when she met the love of her life and soon after was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a mother. She dedicated her life to caring for her little boy who was a special needs child.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ismael Ojeda, most cherished son, David Jesus Ojeda and father, Jesus Barrientes.
Alicia was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor and loyalty to family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Guadalupe Barrientes of Edinburg; two brothers, Eloy (Dolores) Barrientes and Ricardo Barrientes, both of San Juan; three sisters, Estella (Jorge) Villarreal of McAllen, Mariela (Michael) Craig of Port Angeles, Washington and Esmeralda Barrientes of Edinburg; nieces and nephews; Eloy Barrientes, Jr., Veronica Guerrrero, Juan Miguel Barrientes, Elizabeth Villarreal and Jorge Villarreal, Jr.
She is also survived by her second family, Dora and David Ojeda and extended family of Littlefield, Tx.
Pallbearers will be Eloy Barrientes, Sr., Eloy Barrientes, Jr., Juan Miguel Barrientes, Ricardo Barrientes, Jorge Villarreal, Sr. and Joe Soto. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gilbert Soto, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
