MANUEL MOLINA PHARR- Manuel Molina, 87, died Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Mr. Molina lived all of his life in Pharr; he retired from Texas Department of Transportation after 37 years. He is preceded in death by his former spouse, Evangelina Molina. Mr. Molina is survived by his wife, Noemi Molina; 11 children, Yolanda (Augustin) Martinez, Felipa (+Ramiro) Escobedo, Oralia Molina, Jose Manuel (Juanita) Molina, Erasmo (Mary) Molina, David (Mary Ann) Molina, Ofelia (Guadalupe) Pecina , Armando Molina, Noe (Estella) Molina, Belinda (Manuel) Espinosa, Sylvia (Rigoberto) Villarreal; four step children, Yolanda De La Cerda, Mario Cesar Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez; three sisters, Lupita Barbosa, Margarita Pena, Gloria Adame; a brother, Miguel Molina; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amara Hospice Staff in Edinburg for the excellent care given to our father. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
