MOISES MOLINA
EDINBURG – Moises Molina, 89, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Born at Rancho San Alfonso, on February 17, 1927, Mr. Molina lived and worked north of Edinburg all of his life.
He proudly served in the US Army during WWII, where he trained as a sharpshooter. Mr. Molina worked as vaquero, a rancher and a machine operator at the local quarries. He was married to the love of his life, Delia, for 61 years. His strength, guidance and wisdom will be forever cherished by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Delia Otila; his parents, Enrique and Maria R. Molina; and brother, Jose Oscar Molina.
Mr. Molina is survived by his wife, Delia A. Molina of Edinburg; four children, Sobeyda (Francisco) Trevino, both of Edinburg, Anabeth (Ruben) Cordova of Santa Rosa, Adamina (John) Morlock of Fort Davis, Edgar (Pedro Sanchez) Molina of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; seven siblings, Esther M. Jimenez, of Edinburg, Olivia Ochoa of McAllen, Leonor M. Longoria, Enrique P. (Amalia) Molina, both of Edinburg, Leonel M. (Gloria) Molina of San Antonio, Gloria V. Molina, Jesus (Ester) Molina, both of Edinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Faysville. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
