ALONZO MONTEMAYOR MISSION - Alonzo Montemayor, 79, died Friday, December 21, 2012, at Mission Nursing and Rehab Center. Alonzo lived in Mission most of his life. He loved his grandchildren very much, was a hard worker, and was always willing to help everyone in need, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Concepcion Montemayor; daughter, Leticia (Jesus Antonio) Rodriguez of Mission; three grandchildren, Luis Antonio (Arabel) Rodriguez of Mission, Esteban (Daniella Guzman) Rodriguez of McAllen, Adrian Alonzo (Ashley) Rodriguez of McAllen; three great grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Rodriguez of Mission, Daneil Merari Rodriguez, Dominic Alonzo Rodriguez both of McAllen; four sisters, Guadalupe, Odilia, Anita, and Aurora; three brothers, Artemio, Alberto, and Jose Rodriguez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with 6 p.m. prayer service and a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 23, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
