CAROLINA MONTEMAYOR
PHARR - Carolina Montemayor, 73, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her residence in Pharr.
Born in Premont, Texas, Ms. Montemayor had lived in Pharr since 1980 and was a member of Liberty Temple in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her father, Brijido Montemayor; a sister, Laura Esthela Montemayor de Rendon; and a brother, Jesus Guadalupe Montemayor.
Ms. Montemayor is survived by her mother, Maria Esthela Montemayor; five sisters, Rosa Alicia (Aquiles) Trevino, Maria Antonia Montemayor (Alfredo) Lucero, Esperanza (Hernan) Garza, Leticia Montemayor and Carlota (Marcos) Lozano; two brothers, Brijido (Eulalia) Montemayor, Jr., Jorge Luis (Rosa) Montemayor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service was held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 pm, today, January 14, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
