RODRIGO MONTEMAYOR EDINBURG – Rodrigo Montemayor, 81, died December 9, 2014, at Comfort House in McAllen. He is preceded in death by a son, Rodrigo Montemayor, Jr.; his parents, Juan and Fidela Montemayor; two brothers, Carlos and Ramiro Montemayor ; two sisters, Herlinda Lozano, and Elena Munoz. Mr. Montemayor is survived by his wife, Sara Montemayor of Edinburg, TX; and a daughter, Fidela Montemayor of Edinburg. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Olivia Montemayor; a son, Gustavo (Esther) Montemayor; four daughters, Graciela Gonzalez, Cristelia (Ramiro) Ramirez, Yolanda (Javian Molina) Diaz, Ellie (David) Torres, all of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rodolfo Montemayor of Hemet, CA, Gonzalo Montemayor of Houston, TX, Roberto Montemayor of San Antonio, TX, and a sister, Hortencia Montemayor of Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today December 10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
