Margarita C. Mora

MARGARITA C. MORA EDINBURG - Margarita C. Mora, 81, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Mission, Mrs. Mora had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irineo Jose Mora; two children, Maria and Irineo Jose Mora, Jr.; her parents, Jose and Maria Cruz; three brothers, Genaro, Jose, Clemente Cruz; and two sisters, Maria Cruz and Socorro Mora. Margarita is survived by six children, Leandro "Leo" (Noverta) Mora, Jose "Joe" (Micaela "Mickey") Mora, Rebecca "Becky" (Frank) Rodriguez, Israel "Ray" (Norma Trevino) Mora, Carmen Mora, Consuelo "Connie" Mora, all of Edinburg; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. We the family would like to give special thanks to Edinburg Regional Medical Center nurses and CNA staff, Ace PHC, RGV Home Health, and her medical doctors, Dr. Mehkri, Dr. Kotaki, Dr. Ratnam, Dr. Badaige, and Dr. Alanbari. Pallbearers will be TJ "Tiraco" Salinas, Leo Mora, Jacob Mora, John Mora, James Mora, Leroy Mora, Orlando Israel Mora, and Matthew Ray Mora. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
