Porfiria Morales

PORFIRIA MORALES EDINBURG - Porfiria Morales, 89, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Morales was born in Edinburg and had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ponciano P. Morales; sons, Grabiel Morales, Paulino Morales, and Ponciano Morales, Jr.; two brothers, Baudelio Sepulveda and Luciano Sepulveda. Porfiria is survived by nine daughters, Lydia (Pedro) Martinez of Edinburg, Alicia (David) Duenes of Temple, TX, Amelia (Guadalupe) Colunga of Edinburg, Delia (Guillermo) Guardiola of Dallas, TX, Mary (Juan) Trejo of Edinburg, Juanita (Joe) Zuniga of Donna, Olga (Andres) Alvarez of San Antonio, TX, Rosa Hernandez of Bay City, TX, and Elma (Enemecio) Mena of Weslaco; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 4, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
