ELIAS MORENO SAN JUAN – Elias Moreno, 41, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at his residence in San Juan. Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico, Elias had lived in Pharr most of his life with the last five years in San Juan. He is preceded in death by his father Demetrio Moreno. Elias is survived by his wife, Leticia Moreno of San Juan; three children, Melissa Moreno of Donna, Brenda Moreno of Pharr, and Elias Moreno, Jr. of San Juan; two grandchildren; and his mother, Josefina Liscano Moreno of Pharr. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, April 9, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
