Juana Moreno

JUANA MORENO PHARR - Juana Moreno, 86, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, at San Juan Nursing Home. Born in Mexico, Mrs. Moreno had lived in Pharr since 1985 and was formerly of McAllen. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Moreno Sr. Mrs. Moreno is survived by three children, Ricardo (Linda) Moreno Jr., Carolina Moreno, both of McAllen, Joel Moreno, of Austin; five grandchildren, Monica (Jesse) Mata, Ricardo Moreno III, Valerie N. (Robert) Neeley, Jocelyn Box, Samantha Moreno; two great-grandchildren, Michael Mata and Luke Neeley; a brother, Jesus Rodriguez, of San Juan; and a sister, Maria Morales, of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 21, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of San Juan Nursing Home and the staff of Legacy Hospice for the care given to their mother. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
