JUSTA R. MORENO

EDINBURG/ SAN CARLOS - Justa R. Moreno, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Merced Riojas, a son, Mateo Moreno, Jr., two sisters Alicia R. Mauricio, Maria Gloria and a brother, Juan Riojas.

She is survived by Mateo Moreno, her children, Irma (Mark) Murray, Jesus (Sylvia) Moreno, Alicia (Rey) Moreno-Buendia and Sylvia (Cornelio) Reyna; her grandchildren, Chrystale (Bryant) De La Cruz, Jesus Daniel Moreno, Mark Adrian Moreno, Jaclyn Nicole Cavazos, Ashley Nicole Reyna, Cassandra Nicole Reyna; and one great- grandchild, Jasson De La Cruz; brothers and sisters, Alfredo (Marybeth) Riojas, Celestino (Rebecca) Riojas, Irene (Noe) Salinas, Rosendo Riojas, Jr., Rogelio (Rebecca) Riojas, Guadalupe (Gloria) Riojas, Yolanda (Luis) Guzman, Reynaldo (Angelica) Riojas and Elva (Carlos) Aleman.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2016, with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos, with burial to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
