MARIA DE LA LUZ MORENO SAN JUAN — Maria De La Luz Moreno, 47, died Monday, September 7, 2015, at her residence in San Juan. “During my time here with my family, I spent caring as being cared for, it comes this time that I leave to continue my journey into a new life. Let it be known, I am loved and my love will continue.” She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Sr. and Agustina Alejandro; and a brother, Guadalupe Alejandro, Jr. Mrs. Moreno is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Luna of San Juan; one son, Brandon Luna of San Juan; three daughters, Crystal (Danny Garcia) Moreno of Round Rock, TX, Laura Cadena, Gabrielle Luna, both of San Juan; a grandson, Evin Garcia of Round Rock, TX; and numerous siblings. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
