Sylvia D. Moreno, 80, entered eternal rest Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence in Edinburg.
Mrs. Moreno had lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Moreno; a son, David Rene Moreno; and five siblings, Maximina, Meliton, Jose Alfredo, Tomas Marcos, and Juan Martin De Leon Ledezma.
Mrs. Moreno is survived by three children, Luis Enrique (SunJa) Segovia, Pedro Damian (Patty) Moreno, Andrew Irving (Anna) Moreno; 11 grandchildren, Michael Moreno, Kayleen Rios, Ryan Rios, Bryan Segovia, AJ Segovia, Vanessa Segovia, Isabella Segovia, Sabrina Moreno, Timber Ty Moreno, Dominique Moreno, Jason Moreno; and nine siblings, San Juana, Maria Guadalupe, Analilia, Maria Andrea, Obdulia, Norma G., Luis Angel, Marco Antonio, and Victor Hugo De Leon Ledezma.
A rosary was held Monday, March 13, 2023. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
