ALAMO – Mauela G. Morin, 63, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in Pharr, Mrs. Morin lived in Alamo for the past 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Concepcion Guerrero; a son, Manuel Morin; and a sister, Julia Garza.
Mrs. Morin is survived by her husband, Severiano Morin, Jr.; four children, Amanda Galvan, of Pharr, Ruben (Mary) Morin, of Alamo, Connie (Jaime) Lopez, of San Juan, Rene (Michelle) Guzman, of Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Rene Guerrero, of Mission; and a sister, Virginia Elizondo, of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, April 18, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be a t 2 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
