Rev. Hugo Moya

PHARR - Rev. Hugo Moya, 55, went home to our Lord Saturday, April 10, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, he moved to Pharr, TX with his family in 1994 and founded Iglesia Misionera Cristo Vive in 1999. Rev. Hugo faithfully served the Lord by ministering to his family, the church, and the community.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Maria De Los Angeles Moya; and a sister, Angelica Moya.
Rev. Moya is survived by his wife, Eunice Moya; and his children, Yonathan (Megan), Jennifer, Jafet (Kaitlin), Jordan (Lydia), Esmirna, Alpha, and Sabas Moya; two grandchildren, Jude and Elijah; four siblings, Ali (Laura), Marlen, Mario (Veronica), and Raul (Irma).
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
