ROBERTO "BETO" MUNIZ SAN JUAN - Roberto "Beto" Muniz, 67, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He is preceded in death by his father, Vicente Muniz; and a brother, Juan Muniz. Mr. Muniz is survived by his wife, Apolinar Muniz, of San Juan; a son, Roberto Muniz Jr., of Donna; a daughter, Erica Muniz, of Pharr; seven grandchildren; his mother, Concepcion Muniz of San Juan; four brothers, Mario Muniz, Eugenio Muniz, Pedro Muniz, all of San Juan, Jose Muniz, of Wisconsin; and a sister, Janie Perez, of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
