SECUNDINO SOSA MUNOZ EDINBURG - Secundino Sosa Munoz, 66, died Monday, September 21, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mr. Sosa had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Sosa is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Rodriguez of Edinburg; two sons, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Guadalupe (Donnsha Hollis) Sosa, both of Nebraska; two daughters, Elizabeth (Salathiel) Alvarado of McAllen, Concepcion "Connie" Sosa (Nickos DeAndre) Horton of Nebraska; nine grandchildren; his mother, Concepcion Munoz; his father, Guadalupe Sosa; and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Eidnburg.
