Alexander "Alex"  Murillo

MISSION – Alexander “Alex” Murillo, 46, died, Monday, May 30, 2016 in Mission.
Born in McAllen, Alexander lived in PSJA most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Federico “Fred” Murillo.
Alexander is survived by his wife of 16 years, Maria Sylvia Murillo of Mission; three children, Andrew Alexander Murillo, Alexis Nicole Murillo, and Corynna Rose Murillo all of Mission; his mother, Corina Murillo of Pharr; and a sister, Monica Murillo of Pharr.
Alex was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son and grandson and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Alex fought a long, courageous battle and showed strength and love through it all. Most important to him was that his wife and children knew how much he loved them. Alex, rest peacefully now in the arms of our loving Savior.
Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, June 2, 2016. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
