ALTAGRACIA NAVA ALAMO – Altagracia Nava, 63, died Friday, November 30, 2012, at her residence in Alamo. Born in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mrs. Nava had lived in Alamo for 29 years and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by a brother, Francisco Miranda; and a grandson, Hector Ramos Jr. Mrs. Nava is survived by her husband, Jesus Nava, of Alamo; four daughters, Maria Del Rosario Trevino, Cynthia Isabel (Ricardo) Hernandez, Laura (Alfredo) Arreaga, all of Alamo, Irene (Milton) Zambrano, of McAllen; 14 grandchildren; six sisters, Teresa Garcia, of McAllen, Maria Delgado, of Edinburg, Petra Cedillo, of Monterrey, Maria Del Roble Mayo, of Reynosa, Elvia Vaquera, of Alamo, Nora Idalia Avalos, of Michigan; and six brothers, Metodio Miranda, Miguel Angel Miranda, Oscar Javier Miranda, all of Reynosa, Gamaliel Miranda, of McAllen, Manuel Miranda, of Alamo, Humberto Miranda, of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 2, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
