Brijida Navarro, 67, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at her residence in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Maria De Jesusa Sanchez; and a brother, Israel Sanchez.
Mrs. Navarro is survived by her husband, Armando Navarro Sr.; two sons, Armando (Monic Gonzalez) Navarro Jr., Alberto (Sarah Gil) Navarro; three grandchildren, Zylah Navarro, Kaylah Navarro, Noah Navarro; four brothers, Genaro Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Jose Luis Sanchez, Refugio Sanchez; and four sisters, Angelita Esparza, Josefina Aguayo, Faustina Garza, and Eduardina Mares.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services will take place at 12 noon Friday, September 9, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
