LEONOR A. NAVARRO
SAN JUAN – Leonor A. Navarro, 83, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 in San Juan.
Leonor was born in Rio Grande City, Texas and lived in San Juan most of her life.
Mrs. Navarro is preceded in death by her husband, Martin L. Navarro; two sisters, Cipriana Arellano and Rosa Mosqueda.
She is survived by three children, Jane Navarro (Luis Jr.) Ramos, Maria A. Navarro (+Frank) Garza both of San Juan, Dora Navarro (Cesar) Munoz of Carrizo Springs, Texas; five grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Ramos, Robert Jason (Hadassah T.) Ramos both of Edinburg, Jennifer Lea Ramos (Robby) Escareño of Pharr, Alyssa Marie Muñoz (John) Lopez of San Antonio, Alison (Jesus Roberto Contreras) Muñoz of Carriso, Springs; five great-grandchildren, Kaylee Elizabeth Longoria, Aiden Pedro Longoria, Carissa Renee Lopez, Remy Marseille Ramos, Rylea Jordan Escareño; a brother, Aurelio Arellano of Houston.
Special thanks to her caregivers, Alma Valle and a special thanks to Martha Castillo for her unconditional love and care for our wonderful mother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
