RUDY NAVARRO, JR.
EDINBURG - Rudy Navarro, Jr., 20, with beloved family at his side went to be with the Lord at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance on June 10, 2011 following a long courageous battle with cancer.
His hope and faith remained strong during his illness even until the very end. During his battle with cancer he always stayed optimistic and kept us all positive. Never did his illness stop him from making us laugh and living his life. He fought the fight and won because he never quit or gave up; he fought with all his might and always with a smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by an uncle, Rene Navarro.
Rudy is survived by his mom, Mary (Alex Flores) Navarro; his dad, Rudy O. (Josie) Navarro, both of Edinburg; two sisters, Velma (Bobby) Smith and Thelma Navarro, both of San Diego, California. Rudy also leaves behind the greatest joys of his life, his nieces, Desirae Smith and Madison Garza. He is also survived by his grandparents, Guadalupe (Josefa) Navarro of Edinburg and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
We would also like to take this time to thank the numerous doctors, nurses & staff from M.D. Anderson and Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance for their continuous care and support of our son.
