JESUS "CHUY" NIETO EDINBURG - Jesus "Chuy" Nieto, 76, died Saturday, August 24, 2013, in Edinburg. Born in Austin, TX, Mr. Nieto had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleuterio and Edubijes Nieto; four brothers, Anastacio, Antonio Sr., Guadalupe, Amaro; and a grandson, Joshua. Jesus is survived by his wife, Maria A. Nieto of Edinburg; three daughters, Anita Nieto of Austin, TX, Alicia Nieto of Edinburg, Marissa Nieto of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Tanya, Andrew, Grace, Jessica, Alexander, Briana; one great-grandchild, Dominic; two brothers, Juan Humberto Nieto of Falfurrias, TX and Antonio Nieto, Jr. of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, August 27, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral service are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
