GLORIA DOLORES NIÑO ALAMO – Gloria Dolores Niño, 67, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at McAllen Medical Center. Mrs. Niño was born in San Juan and had lived in Alamo most of her life. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Lopez; and a nephew Samuel Ramirez. She is survived by her husband, Gilberto Niño, of Alamo; three children, Sandra (Dennis) Lester, of Brenham, Texas, Gilberto (Anita) Niño, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, Norma (Jose Luis) Perales, of Alamo; seven grandchildren; a sister, Adelaida Lopez, of Houston, Texas; and an aunt, Juanita Guerra, of McAllen. A rosary was held yesterday, May 16, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, May 17, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
