EVA G. NIÑO EDINBURG - Eva G. Niño, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Arbor View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Edinburg. Born in Yorktown, TX, Mrs. Niño had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Niño, Sr.; and a daughter, Tomasita Niño; a sister, Juanita Rios. Eva is survived by four sons, Mike (Barbara) Niño, Jr. of Hawaii, Fernando (Cheryl) Niño of South Dakota, Javier (Nora) Niño of McAllen, Jaime (Flora) Niño of Edinburg; four daughters, Rose Niño of Edinburg, Eufemia (Luis) Rangel of San Antonio, TX, Magdalena Niño of Edinburg, and Idolina Herrera of Pasadena, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Trevino of Edinburg; two brothers, Gregorio Gomez of Round Rock, TX and Roberto Gomez Santa Clara, CA. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, May 23, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
