Noe E. Garza, 89, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at his temporary residence in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Born in Mission, Mr. Garza lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Humberto and Antonia Garza; two sisters, Guadalupe "Lupe" (Gustavo) Flores and Ana Maria Cantu.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lydia Flores Garza; daughter, Marissa (Jonathan) Boggs; a granddaughter, Amanda (Jacob) Salinas; two grandsons, Aaron S. (Kamron) Boggs, Andrew S. Boggs; four great-grandchildren, Eleanor Jewel Boggs, Judah Boggs, Jace Salinas, Julia Joy Salinas; three siblings, Carmen (Alberto) Garza, Adelina Hernandez, Beto Garza; and a brother-in-law, Raul Cantu.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Entombment of cremated remains will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
