JOSE ANTONIO OCHOA
EDINBURG- Jose Antonio Ochoa, 76, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, at Harlingen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Nestora Ochoa; brother, Federico Ochoa Jr., and sister Cristina Ramirez.
Mr. Ochoa is survived by his spouse, Concepcion Ochoa; five children, Cynthia (Bobby) Ibarra, Javier Antonio (Lisa) Ochoa; Nona Ochoa, Jose Antonio Ochoa Jr., Richard Ochoa; six grandchildren, Mark Anthony Cantu, Jocelyn, Anthony, Monique, Alyssa, and Dayna Ochoa; four great-grandchildren, Trey, Andre, Natalie, Jordan; four siblings, Alma Todd, Gloria Perez, Aminta Lopez, and Leo Ochoa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. Graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022, at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7473 of Elsa.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
