Edinburg – Ofira R. Rangel, 81, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Colonial Manor in Pharr.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Agustin Rangel; and her parents, Jose and Maria Ramon.

Mrs. Rangel is survived by her three children, Gilbert (Jasmin) Cantu Jr., Cynthia L. (Robert) Gauna, Orlando Cantu; five grandchildren, Amanda Cardoza, Pheobe Villarreal, Kalizta Cantu, Joely Olivarez, Nicole Cantu; five great-grandchildren, Trinity Ochoa, Madilyn Cardoza, Azaih Cardoza, Noah Cardoza, Roman Ojeda; five siblings, Olivia Pena, Robert Ramon, Mary Luna, Jesus Ramon, and Candelario Ramon.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
