Alicia Olivarez Ortiz, 64, entered eternal rest Monday, September 6, 2021, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Viola Olivarez.
Alicia is survived by her husband, Armando Ortiz; two children, Abigail Annette (Alex) Tellez, Armando Ortiz Jr.; and three grandchildren, Rachael Irene, Alexander Jr., and Annabelle Eve Tellez.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service Friday, September 10, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. The funeral procession will depart at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, for a 3 p.m. graveside service at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
