MARIA ISABEL ORTIZ LOPEZ
ALAMO - Maria Isabel Ortiz Lopez, 66, died Monday, June 28, 2010 at her residence in Alamo.
Born in Puebla, Mexico, Ms. Ortiz had lived in Alamo since 1988 and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by a son, Carlos Eduardo Ortiz; a brother, Constantino Lopez; and her parents, General de Division Anacleto Lopez and Maria Del Socorro Lopez.
Ms. Ortiz is survived by five children, Edgar (Maritza) Ortiz of Mission, Soledad Ortiz, Laura Ortiz, both of Alamo, Isabel (Xavier) Casares of McAllen, and SSGT Juan Pablo (Amanda) Ortiz of San Clemente, California; ten grandchildren, Melanie, Edgar Vincent, Isabella, Kristine, Xavier, Karisa, Kayla, John, Kimberly and Carlos; and a brother, Rodrigo (Marta) Lopez of Zacatecas, Mexico.
A rosary was held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, today, June 30, 2010 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
