GUADALUPE G. OZUNA
ALAMO/ELECTRA – Guadalupe G. Ozuna, 89, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, at her residence in Electra, Texas.
Born in Rio Grande City, she had lived in Alamo most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Elias Reyna; a son, Gerardo Reyna, two daughters, Victoria Reyna and Yolanda Martinez; and her parents, Hilario and Antonia Garza.
Ms. Ozuna is survived by her husband, Jose P. Garcia, of Electra, Texas; a son, Fernando Puente, of Denton, Texas; a daughter, Elia Rudd, of Electra, Texas; three grandsons who she raised, Andres Games, Rondal Games and Juan David Martinez, all of Sandusky, Ohio; four step-children, Lisa Roach, Maria Magdalena Perez, Petra Quinones and Jose Armando Garcia, all of Electra, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Alfredo Garza and Jesus Garza, both of Alamo, Donaciano “Chano” Garza, of San Juan, and Hilario Garza, Jr., of Dallas, Texas; and eight sisters, Julia Olivarez, Herlinda Aleman, Hortencia Ortiz and Teresa Garcia, all of Alamo, Ofelia Livas, of Port Clinton, Ohio, Maria Luisa Ortiz and Leticia Gonzalez, both of San Juan, and Otila Martinez, of Baytown, Texas.
Cremation was held in Electra, Texas. A rosary will be held at 6 pm Friday, March 5, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Local services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
